Spectrolebias filamentosus - Rediscovered


In April 2008, I went to the terra typica of Spectrolebias filamentosus only to find the habitat destroyed. In February 2011 I finally found a new habitat 100 km north of the terra typica, but was unsuccessful in reproducing the fishes in sufficient quantities. In February 2013, I returned again to the same location and was finally successful in reproducing this wonderful species.
